Newsletters

I am excited to do the newsletter assignment. I've never actually done one before, so it will a good experience for me. I'm not really sure how I will be able to use it professionally. I guess it would be good to keep employees updated on new issues in the company or upcoming events. Or even in my personal life I could use it to keep in touch with family or friends. I will probably think of more ideas after we get started on it.

Image editing professionally

I think I will use image editing more in my personal life, rather than professional. I am going to keep working with it and figuring out how to make my images a lot more realistic. One of the ways it could be used professionally is for advertising if I ever have to do any of that. I am doing Corporate Training, though, so I could probably use it for training programs. I will be using PowerPoint presentations so it would be good to add images to them. I just hope that I keep learning and getting better with Photoshop. It was pretty rough to begin with.

My experience with Photoshop

I am not having good experiences with PhotoShop. I'm still having trouble figuring out exactly what to do. I have figured out how to layer the pictures which is nice, but I haven't yet figured out how to make them look realistic. I am having creative mind blocks, so it's hard to decide what to do for the pictures. I think this tool would be a really fun instrument to use to edit pictures in the future, but I'm just going to have to keep going with trial and error. I just get frustrated when I start something new. I thought these blogs were frustrating at first, but now I love them so hopefully that's how I'll feel about Photo shop at the end of this class.

We got swamped

I just wanted to take out some of my personal frustration in this blog. Did anyone else feel like the game on Monday didn't really happen? Well, I guess that's just wishful thinking. I wasn't watching our team play. I don't know who or what I was watching, but it sure was horrifying. It created a lot of resentment and I even considered transferring at one point. I think some people (i.e the offensive and defensive coordinators) should be fired. I am shocked, appalled, and embarrassed. Ok, that's all I wanted to say. And I guess I'm still proud to be a buckeye.

Introduction to me

Hello all! My name is Cindy Taylor (on the right in the picture) and I am a senior majoring in Technical Education & Training- I'm in the Corporate training strand. I am from the small town of Greenfield, Oh (near Bainbridge and Chillicothe). This is my third time using a blog and I'm glad this is the last technology class I have to take - technology has never been a strength for me. I'm looking forward to using PhotoShop because I have never used it before. I'm also looking forward to the National Championship game!! But who isn't? I work at the Business Library and try to hang out with my friends and boyfriend in what little free time I have. I hope everyone has a good year!
